President and chief executive Edward Marino said there was considerable potential for Presstek products in Europe.
"With the AB Dick acquisition we have added 13,000-15,000 new customers for Presstek equipment," he said.
AB Dick (UK) general manager Ray Hillhouse was promoted to managing director.
Marino said there was further restructuring of AB Dick needed. This will involve changes to its products and customer base.
AB Dick's integration and streamlining are expected to be completed and the firm returned to profit by the end of 2005.
Presstek has appointed Susan McLaughlin as president of AB Dick International and senior vice president of Presstek.
McLaughlin was formerly chief operating officer of AGL Resources.
Presstek chief financial officer, Moosa E. Moosa has been promoted to the newly created role of executive vice president.
