In a deal announced at this week’s IfraExpo, the publisher of The Independent will install the software at its sites in London, Belfast and Dublin. The 800-user system will manage content and production for all of INM’s print and online titles.
INM group IT director Andrew Brown said: “Atex has the technologies, scale and infrastructure to support an installation the size and complexity required by INM’s national titles.”
For web publishing, the software allows users to schedule the posting expiration and archiving of content without user intervention. Browser-based Page Tracker software reduces errors and helps deadlines to be met by automatically
monitoring pages as they are being built.
