Q&A: Ben Stokes, sales and marketing manager, Bristol Labels

Ben describes himself as “26 years young”, and, if things go to plan is already more than halfway towards retirement.

He’s been in the labels business for two years, having made the move from banking to printing via a family connection – his dad Paul Stokes is the managing director at Bristol Labels and Ben’s role came about after the firm installed a new Epson digital press and wanted to bring someone in specifically to sell that service. 

What is your nickname? 

Nothing that’s suitable for this magazine!

Why did you get into printing? 

I’ve always been involved, with my dad being MD and always been interested. I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity in sales

What would you most like to print? 

I would love to print the sauce bottle labels for Nando’s with the hope of a few free meals

As sad as it sounds it would have to be Paul Stokes, the managing director at Bristol Labels
