Throughout 2010 we brought you tales of great charitable feats by the great and the good of the print industry, so what better way to kick start another year by drawing your attention to a very worthy cause.
In April, Technotrans managing director Peter Benton will run the London Marathon in aid of Orchid, the charity for the research into, and treatment of, male-specific cancers.
Peter is hoping to raise upwards of £2,000 for the cause and is currently undertaking a strict training program to prepare for the big day.
He said: "Us blokes tend to be in denial about health issues, thinking we are all invincible, so if I can change this in some way, it would have been worth it.
"I have committed to raise £2,000 so if there is anyone out there who would help this charity by sponsoring my run I would be delighted to have any amount they can offer."
If you would like to sponsor Peter’s run, you can do so here.
