Tech-ni-fold plans major digital push

Supplementary finishing equipment manufacturer Tech-ni-fold has said it is planning to take the digital sector by storm with its new table-top folding equipment.

The company launched its latest table-top folding technology at Ipex last month, the Creasestream Junior and the Creasestream Plus.

According to managing director Graham Harris, the company has already sold 20 machines, even though both models only become available at the end of July.

He said: "This is only the start as well-known digital print manufacturers are also lining up for discussions. This clearly underlines our belief that we are taking digital finishing to a completely new level."

Harris added that the Junior model had so far proved the most popular. It is designed for digital and litho printers with low runs and it can handle up to 4,000 hand-fed sheets per hour.
