Tech-ni-fold announces move into creasing machinery

Finishing equipment supplement supplier Tech-ni-fold has announced plans to move into the manufacturing of creasing equipment.

The company will be exhibiting its first two machines at this year's Ipex event, according to managing director Graham Harris.

Previously, the company supplied the Tri-creaser as well as related products, which are added to folding machines from manufacturers, such as Heidelberg.

At this stage the Creasestream Pro and a smaller model, the Creasestream Junior, will be shown at the event in May. A third automatic machine may also be available, however Harris said that this was not definite yet.

At this stage specifications for the machines are unavailable.

He said: "These machines are looking specifically at the digital sector. Some creasing innovations are, in my opinion, over-priced. We aim to offer versatile cost-effective machines."
