Smith Print Design in administration but still trading

Gateshead printer Smith Print Design has gone into administration but is being traded by insolvency practitioner KSA Group.

Eric Walls, KSA Group national director of turnaround and insolvency, told PrintWeek that the company went into administration on Wednesday (8 June).

He said: "We are hopeful that we can make a sale and we will continue to trade the company going forward."

Smith Print Design has a turnover of around £2m and employs about 22 staff, none of which have been made redundant at this stage.

According to its website, Smith Print Design was established in 1831.
