According to local reports 45 employees were made redundant on Tuesday afternoon, shortly after KPMG was appointed.

Jonathan Hart of KPMG confirmed that he had been appointed to the company, but told PrintWeek he was unable to say any more at this point.

The phone is still being answered at Saxon, but it is unclear whether a sale will be pursued at this point.

Saxon prints in a number of areas, including brochures and fine art.

Saxon Print in Norwich is unrelated to Saxon Print in Essex.
