The deal for the solvent wash flexo plate processor was completed through the company's South African distributor, Antalis.

Heights sales manager Nigel Walsh said: "The 2530 has attracted a lot of interest as it is extremely compact - exposure, wash, drying and light finishes are all completed in one unit.

"That said, there has also been a lot of interest in our larger machine, the 5280, which is for large format work."

The 2530 was sold for €48,000 (£42,000) and can handle plates up to 660x810mm with a maximum thickness of 7mm.
