Archant London launches hyper-local magazine

Magazine and newspaper publisher Archant has launched the first in a new series of local magazines for London residents.

Fulham Resident, printed at Ashford, Kent-based Headley Bros, is a free, 68-page monthly publication targeting selected residents in Fulham, London with news on local life, health and beauty, education and homes and interiors.

The 13,500 print-run glossy title uses 130gsm paper for the inside pages, while the cover is printed on 300gsm and features a raised gold-leaf masthead.

Archant publisher Helen Richmond said that the magazine embraced high quality production standards and had "high visibility and ‘stand-out’ from titles in the competitive London freemium market".

The publication of Fulham Resident is the first in an undisclosed number of similar hyper-local magazine releases planned by Archant London in the coming months. The publisher confirmed that its next two launches would be in Islington and Wimbledon.
