Along with four other firms, Webmart was awarded the prize for European Company of the Year in the Business or Professional Services category.

The awards generated over 3,700 nominations.

Recently appointed Webmart customer services director Damian Sorgiovanni said: “This award recognises Webmart’s unique proposition. It’s great for everyone in the business to be acknowledged through this international award showing that Webmart is not only the best in the UK but is becoming increasingly respected overseas too.”

It was the first time Webmart had entered the awards. 

“We entered because we knew we were strong in this area,” Sorgiovanni said. “Customers’ needs are absolutely paramount for us and that’s what drives our culture.”

Sorgiovanni, who joined the company in July after six and a half years at print management company Charterhouse, added that Webmart was considering offering its services internationally, capitalising on the company’s extensive range of contacts.

He told PrintWeek in July: “I'll also bring my experience with international team management, and will be looking to the future on that."

Bicester-based print management firm Webmart has a turnover of £25.6m.
