Imprint pushing tech integration with PrintWeekLive! MIS demo

MIS developer Imprint Business Systems will use PrintWeekLive! in March to show how its software can improve the profitability and efficiency of printing businesses.

Essex-based Imprint will demonstrate how its software can optimise a Horizon post-press workflow.

Sales and marketing director Wayne Beckett said: "We will be asking people one main question: are you estimating jobs and guess-timating profit?

“Imprint’s software can eliminate this problem to increase profitability. Integrated properly with your printing tech, as well as pre-press and finishing systems, it can track a job’s time on press, the amount of material used and wastage.

“This way, you get a more accurate costing of a job as opposed to depending on estimates and human error on the shop floor.”

Imprint’s demonstrations will simulate the effect of its software on Horizon kit at the show, which is being held at the Wasps Arena, Coventry on 7/8 March, because “many of our customers successfully use Horizon machines with Imprint software”, according to Beckett.

Imprint has a team of 15 staff. For web-to-print services, it has partnerships with companies including Infigo Software and Vpress. Its customers have included Nottingham-based Midland Regional Printers, RNB Group in Leeds, and London direct mail specialist Romax.

The Imprint team will be found at stand E15 during the show. To reserve your place at PrintWeekLive! visit printweeklive.com.
