Entries for the scheme, which opened on 1 October and were initially set to close on Saturday (31 October), will now be accepted up to the 31 December.

Stationers also said that if the lockdown restrictions tighten further it will consider extending the deadline into next year.

The scheme is open to any business that operates in the industry sectors covered by the Stationers' remit, which spans all the communication and content industries, including print.

The livery company also stressed that entering companies and individuals do not need to be members.
The Warrants scheme aims to recognise new and exisiting products or services that “stand out” as a “mark of recognition to highlight excellence”.

The Warrant committee, which is chaired by Chris Greer, assess entries on criteria including “original design and high-quality manufacturing/production techniques as well as factors such as appropriate and sustainable packaging and relevance to the industry or market sector”.

Applications can be made online via the Stationers website or in hard copy by emailing and requesting an entry form.
