Evans was previously in the equivalent role at BGP, now Polestar Bicester. He began his career 18 years ago at Goodhead Group, which he joined as a trainee estimator.

PCP managing director Alex Evans said Evans’ wealth of experience would be an asset to the business: “Nick will really focus on the that commercial area, working closely with the sales team, estimators and customer service team.”

The position is effectively a new role at the company.

Nick Evans said: “There is a good opportunity here at PCP to add to what the company already has. I’m hoping I can help PCP achieve the growth it desires while keeping the high standards already set.”

PCP employs over 200 staff and has turnover of £37m. Last year it boosted its production capacity with the installation of a Komori System 38 web press and Muller Martini binding line.
