Riso outlines plans as it returns to PrintWeekLive!

Japanese manufacturer Riso will showcase its upcoming T2 tandem inkjet printer at the second outing of PrintWeekLive! in March.

The firm has booked a 31.5sqm stand at the show, on which it will demonstrate the T2, which is capable of printing at 320ppm duplex. Set for commercial availability soon, an earlier concept model of this device was first shown at Drupa 2016.

The company will also show the ComColor GD9630 printer, shown for the first time in the UK at last year’s inaugural PrintWeekLive!

It will explain the benefits of this machine to visitors and outline how the device can be used for printing on NCR and envelopes as well as standard stocks.

The business, which last month also unveiled two new A3 digital duplicators, said visitors to the show should come to the Riso stand to see how its inkjet printers could help them to improve workflow, increase revenue and reduce costs.

Riso UK managing director Tatsuo Murakami said: “PrintWeekLive! is a fantastic opportunity to reach different people in the print industry. We can showcase our print solutions, which are like no other, and present the opportunities that cutsheet inkjet printers offer.

“Often, people come on to our stand and the realisation hits them that they could be doing so much more with their print. We’ve known people set up whole new revenue streams after visiting us and seeing the power of inkjet.

“In addition, the PrintWeekLive! event gives us the opportunity to be with like-minded people who want the best out of print as an industry and want to learn from others who are being innovative in terms of products but also in terms of thinking. We’re certainly looking forward to being at the show.”

PrintWeekLive! takes place on 7/8 March 2018 in the Ericsson exhibition hall at the Wasps Arena, Coventry.
