Anglia Labels is a privately owned label printing business founded in 1980. The company supplies a range of print solutions to a wide and varied client base in the label and tag markets. “With a modern can-do attitude and 40 years’ experience Anglia is a company that cares for all its customers regardless of size,” the firm says.

Where are you based? 

Anglia Labels is in Sudbury in Suffolk, having moved to the current premises in 1982 shortly after being established

How many staff do you have?

We employ 24 staff

What does your firm do? 

We can support our clients from concept, through artwork development, market mock-ups, press pass, final print and post print meetings. We ensure consistency of colour over the different print processes ensuring customer branding is met throughout our factory

Which areas do you serve?

While many of our clients are based in Suffolk and East Anglia we supply clients from all parts of the UK

Which markets do you serve? 

We have clients in the areas of agriculture, car care products, charities, chemicals, pet care, horticulture, medical labels, security, local government, retail industry, drinks industry

What’s your USP?

The right product, at the right price, at the right time

What’s your company’s mission statement?

We, as a team, are dedicated to delivering every job, however simple or however complex, to the quality specified and on time

What equipment do you run?

HP Indigo WS6800, Domino Inkjet N610i, two ABG Digicons, Grafisk and DACO finishing units

What’s been your proudest achievement in the past few years?

We are proud to have purchased two new digital presses, a Domino N610i and HP Indigo WS6800 together with two DACO finishing units. This has allowed us to continue to expand and increase our capacity

Where do you see your business in five years’ time?

100% digital

What’s your team’s favourite biscuit?

This question posed the most difficulty, although in the end, on volume, the choice is custard creams
