InkTec has opened the possibilities of direct-to-film (DTF) printing with an entry level kit and consumables bundle that significantly lowers the barriers to entry.

DTF printing has seen growth over the last year with many claiming it as the ultimate solution for producing myriad promotional materials.

As a long-term manufacturer of inks and media, InkTec has used its R&D knowledge to gain a deep understanding of what customers want from DTF technology. The result is the launch of their new, DTF range – including Printer, Shaker, Air Purifier, Powder, Inks and Media.

InkTec’s DTF 600mm printer is a compact, versatile engine, supporting two Epson i3200-A1 printheads with a production speed of 12-15sqm per hour six-pass and 9-11sqm per hour eight pass.

It supports CMYK plus White for a high-quality print finish with an integrated ink recirculation system. The Anti-Collision System also protects the printhead from damage when encountering obstacles ensuring downtime is minimised. While the liftable capping station offers easy height adjustment when maintaining printheads, and comes as standard.

As part of the printer bundle, InkTec’s new powder shaker is one of the most compact on the market thanks to its vertical powder drying system. This makes it ideal for smaller workspaces. With its curved design and three heating areas, the printed DTF film has additional time to correctly cure the ink and melt the powder, ensuring a higher-quality finish.
