Every photographer spends approximately 12 hours retouching each shot before giving us files sized over 80 megabytes per picture. This means high-quality reproduction is paramount. Combining this with specially formulated high- pigmentation inks, we knew that only a quality substrate would be good enough to print on. The smooth surface of Howard Smith’s Consort Silk enabled us to print sharp vibrant images with high inking levels and no excessive dot-gains. Its whiteness gives fantastic contrast without an environmental cost as the sheets carry FSC certification. And, as we are an FSC certified printer, we can carry forward its FSC credentials to the end-user. The finished product resulted in appreciative photographers and a very happy publisher.
