The Hampshire company, which undertook a management buyout in April 2010, said the FPS Inserter would process around half of its document production, which includes invoice, statements and mailings.

Document Despatch has specified the new machine with an envelope finishing system, enabling the business to print variable data inline directly onto the envelope.

According to Leigh Foster, managing director at Document Despatch, the Pitney Bowes system provided the business with the "level of functionality and flexibility" it required.

He added: "The inline printer and matching capabilities have already streamlined processes for us and the FPS inserter provides the necessary integrity guarantee that is essential for our transactional work.

"The investment takes our spending over the last 12 months to around half a million pounds, testament to the growth and development of the organisation which is offering services to meet market requirements."
