Anti-reflective sheets from Brett Martin debut at Fespa

Brett Martin has released three new anti-reflective plastic flat sheets at Fespa as part of a continuing push to diversify its product range.

Marlon FS AR polycarbonate, Marpet-g FS AR PETg and Marpet-a FS AR aPET were launched to market last month, all ranging from 0.75-1.5mm thick at a sheet width of 1.25m.

Speaking on stand 1.1-B39, group marketing manager Hayley Lowry identified signage, POS, poster covers and protective screens as ideal applications. The embossed anti-reflective surfaces are designed to reduce surface light reflection and optimise clarity of printed material.

Lowry said: “We are positioned in a market dominated by a handful of multinationals as an alternative offering with a flexible, agile approach allowed to us by our smaller size and the fact we remain an owner-managed, private company.”

The County Antrim, Northern Ireland-based manufacturer works with distributors across the globe to supply a range of thermoplastic sheets, all of which are on display this week.
