There are two inaccuracies to which I would like to draw your attention.
The first, and least significant, is that the new Sakurai OL 496SD press was unveiled at an open house in Tokyo, not Osaka as you stated.
The second, and more important, is that its format size is 965x640mm not 955x630mm.
Finally, it is not Sakurai’s policy to mention competitors by name in any official press release issued by the company, and we would like to make it clear that the mention of Heidelberg in your article should not be taken as an actual or implied criticism by Sakurai of one of its esteemed competitors.
Haruo Tateno, branch manager, Sakurai
Editor replies: Apologies for the mix-up on the format size, we have to hold our hands up on that one. However, on the other two points, having compared notes from two interviews with Sakurai president Ryuta Sakurai, we’re fairly sure that the Osaka and Heidelberg references in the story were faithfully reported. That said, of course we are happy to set the record straight from your perspective.
