Arctic Paper has seen a real increase in demand and growth for these ‘quality’ grades already in 2012 as clients look to add value and distinction to their printed work.
What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2013 and why?
Upgrading definitely seems to be on the increase and I envisage this will continue next year as customers recognise the many benefits premium products can provide such as superior strength, shade, feel and quality.
I also think it could be the year when the volumetric paper opportunities that the book publisher has realised for years is grasped by the commercial print market and their customers as they spot the chance to reduce the ever increasing distribution costs by purchasing high bulk paper at lower grammages. Why run a standard 130g when a volume 115gsm is a match and will make the finished product lighter to distribute, yet feel the same; and don’t forget that you will also get more paper for your money, and probably a better end result too?
