Zünd demonstrates time-saving features and productivity at Fespa

Digital cutting and finishing machines manufacturer Zünd is showcasing its full range at Fespa, with its primary focus on increasing productivity and efficiency.

The G3 M-2500 tandem cutting system, which has a semi-automated production workflow, is one of its big draws at the show.

Head of sales and marketing Stefan Lang said: “Materials can be loaded or unloaded in one zone of the machine and cutting or processing can take place in the other zone. The cutter maximises productivity with the ability to do two things at once. The G3 M-2500 hardly ever stops.”

The system is equipped with a router and the firm’s new oscillating tool, the EOT-250. This tool can process substrates such as Re-board and other thick, multi-layered or cored cardboard materials at maximum speed.

The firm’s automatic sheet feeder increases productivity by automating the loading of sheeted goods. This minimises operator intervention and enables high-volume jobs to be completed quickly and efficiently.

Also on display is the fully automated G3 3XL-1600 cutting system which can process rolls of substrates up to 100kg. It features a tension-control mechanism which can cut and process challenging textiles, vinyl or banners without wrinkling or stretching.

The cutting systems on display are all powered by the Zünd Cut Center digital workflow suite. “The software optimises the cutting jobs and can be used to make packaging and POS displays,” said Lang.

Zünd is exhibiting in Hall B1, Stand 140.
