Xerox to sell EFI's Digital Store Front

Xerox has added EFI's Digital Store Front (DSF) web-to-print system to the range of third-party software it markets to its digital print customers.

Xerox, which already sells EFI's Fiery Servers alongside its digital print engines, will offer DSF through its direct sales team and channel partners, initially in the US.

DSF has more than 3,000 installs worldwide, the bulk of which are in EFI's native North America, and is used by both commercial printers and in-plants.

The web-to-print tool includes optional integration with Xerox-owned XMPie's variable data software, enabling variable data printing and cross-media personalisation.

Elizabeth Fox, vice president, Solutions Business Unit, at Xerox, said: "We recognise the market demand for robust and user-friendly web-to-print offerings. Paired with Xerox's digital printing expertise, DSF brings the benefits of web-to-print to users who, in turn, can quickly respond and address their customers' needs."

Marc Olin, senior vice president and general manager of EFI's APPS division, added: "With the powerful sales and channel network of Xerox now offering DSF, together with Fiery digital print servers, more print service providers than ever before will benefit from this critical business solution."

DSF can be integrated with EFI's Fiery and MIS software.
