The EXP model features a sheet size of 364mm x 660mm, which is the largest in its class.
According to Xerox, this is suitable for the production of jobs such tri-fold brochures, postcards and greetings cards at speeds of up to 120ppm.
The machine also features automated web-to-finish software that enables users to create a finished document without manual setup and intervention.
In addition, the latest incarnation of the Xerox iGen4 includes integration with Adobe PDF Print Engine, which the company claimed ensures the reliable printing of native PDFs.
Kevin O’Donnell, manager of graphic communications within group marketing for Xerox UK and Ireland, said: "The high-end capabilities of the iGen4 press have allowed print service providers to push the boundaries of digital print and spur growth in areas such as direct mail, sales collateral and photo publishing.
"IGen4 EXP puts even more power in the users’ hands – set-up time is reduced, productivity is increased and new high-value applications can be created with 24/7 production."
The new machine will be available for installation later this year with existing iGen4 users able to upgrade early in 2011.
