Chief executive Bryan Bedson attributed the win to the groups increasing focus on cross-selling and its subsidiaries working closer together.
Bedson also confirmed ET Herons three-year deal to print the British Medical Journal (BMJ), as revealed in PrintWeek, 26 July.
The contract, worth 2.5m a year, will see the Essex web offset plant print seven elements a week, in runs ranging from 30,000 to 120,000 copies.
The BMJ award provides further evidence that our strategy to invest in technology is proving successful, added Bedson.
