Wyndeham breaks new ground with Reveal deal

Wyndeham has won the contract for Reveal, the new womens weekly from NatMags that launches this week.

The 2m-a-year deal was secured with a group-wide offering that will see Wyndeham expand its long-standing repro relationship with NatMags into print for the first time.

Reveal is an oversize A4, stitched title and the first issue is 96pp plus covers. Wyndeham Argent will handle repro for the magazine, while Heron will print the text pages and Impact the covers.

NatMags group manufacturing director Alice Beattie said the contract was "a natural progression" of the publisher's relationship with Argent. "We chose Wyndeham as they are able to pick up Reveal at the very beginning of the manufacturing process and manage its production in a closed loop through to completion, increasing our ability to squeeze tight deadlines even further," Beattie stated.

Wyndeham divisional group sales director Jon Hearnden added: "We're very, very pleased. Reveal is making use of the total Wyndeham offering so it's really demonstrating what we're about with the power and skill sets we have in the group," he said.

Wyndeham Heron had gradually emerged as the favourite to print the title after details of the new launch were revealed earlier this year.
