The Newton Abbot-based printer also installed a Ryobi 524HXX four-colour press. It acquired both products through UK distributor, Apex Digital Graphics.
Wotton opted for the metal plate Micra after deciding to trade back its polyester-based DPX system.
The Micra is an ideal companion for the Ryobi press, and just sits there and cranks out the plates, said managing director Roger Mann.
Having seen the Ryobi 524HXX in action I was pleased with the quality of its work, he said.
Wotton Printers, one of the oldest in Devon having been established in 1885, employs 11 staff, and this year is aiming for a turnover of 500,000.
