Whitworth takes up his new role next week. He left IIR, the organiser of Ipex, in the summer following the completion of the Ipex 2002 project.

Prior to his Ipex role Whitworth spent ten years with finishing specialist Friedheim International.

Duplo managing director Robin Greenhalgh said Whitworths international experience and knowledge of major trade shows would be particularly valuable.
