Watkiss binder bumps up sales

An order book of 3.3m of sales of Watkisss new PowerSquare has helped create a buoyant year for the finishing kit manufacturer.

The Bedfordshire-based company, which launched PowerSquare at Digital Print World last October, has also announced a 20% increase in sales of its other products in the year up to February 2007.

The increase was on product sales worldwide, and was particularly helped by strong sales of the Spine­Master and developing business with OEM partners.

Sales director Paul Attew said: “We have seen growth in most areas, but it has been especially significant for the SpineMaster, which has increased three-fold.”
