Version 6.3's template interface features tools for specifying image location, alignment, and scaling attributes.
The template-building toolset is designed to streamline printing for workflows that require consistent image placement and sizing, such as flatbed printing.
The latest release also provides a spot-colour database with import tools for matching hues in industry-standard swatch books and customer data files.
It also includes new halftoning refinements to serve growing market niches and optimises quality specifically for the newest generation of greyscale print heads.
Wasatch will be demonstrating SoftRIP version 6.3 at Drupa, which runs from 29 May to 11 June 2008 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
