WAM!NET has announced a new pricing model and additional services, which it hopes will increase the use of its service.
It has also won work from two UK publishers. Future Publishing has selected the Direct! service to link it to its UK printers, Cradley, ET Heron, Southernprint and St Ives.
All file transfer to external suppliers at PrintWeeks publisher, Haymarket, is switching to WAM!NET following the demise of Vio.

WAM!NET has launched Connect, which allows files to be sent by conventional ISDN to and from Direct! Users purple boxes.
This month, high-volume users will be switched over to a fixed-rate monthly charge with no per-megabyte fees for file transfer. The bundled packages include file transfer and services with built-in discounts. Low volume users will be able to stick to per transaction pricing.
