Waddington Chorley has completed a 4m mailing contract for Bradford & Bingley Building Society. The job saw 2.6 million packs sent out from the Leeds based company over 10 days.
Over 1,000 tonnes of paper were used in the mail out, which included a 140pp document notifying members' of their obligations in an upcoming vote on the building society's conversion to a public listed company.
Oc Pagestream laser printers were used to output the perforated forms. Three hundred casual staff were required to fill the envelopes.
"We did the printing over two weeks, but first started preparing for the job six months ago," said Waddington Chorley's marketing manager Mike Preston. "An awful lot of work goes into preparing a legal document like this - what with liaising with advisors and the society's commission."
