The Docklands-based developer of Ad Express, the software behind the Adfast service, has become a subsidiary of Vio under the name of Vio Integrated Solutions. Portland PMS founder and managing director Peter Humphreys is sales director of the division.
The integration of Portland gives us a very interesting end-to-end workflow, said Vio chairman Richard Horwood.
Becoming part of Vio will expand the reach of Portlands products and services to a global audience as Vio increases its presence and focus overseas, particularly in North America.
There is so much opportunity for Portland overseas, said Horwood.
Vio has increased its focus on North America this year, including appointing Alan Darling as executive vice president. As a result of its increased focus over there, Horwood is relocating to Manhattan.
Vio has been investing heavily in its products and services recently. It has developed a partnership with Hermstedt, launched a new version of its job transfer management software and expanded its salesforce.
