Portland has signed up with US firm Saepio Technologies to sell its range of agile media software in the UK.
Saepios Agilis Media Producer is a system for the online creation of advertising and marketing material that allows controlled customisation of a job.
"Agile media takes asset management and puts templates in front to build documents online," said Portland managing director Peter Humphreys.
Reports from some users, which include Ford and Xerox, suggest it can cut out up to 80% of the artwork production costs for a job.
Portland sees the system as complementing its asset management systems, which it sells under the Asset Star brand, and its ad delivery software Ad Express.
The Saepio system costs around 4,000 per month for a 200-user system.
