Road Ads, which specialises in truck-side advertising tracked via GPS, is also in talks with an undisclosed number of companies about exploiting the new medium (PrintWeek, 3 May).
Vertical Vision printed the vinyl for 25 trucks on its NUR Blueboard, using a total of 2,000m2 of the substrate from 3M, one of the partner companies.
Road Ads managing director Nigel Petty said the company was meeting with advertising companies to explain the benefits of each process.
We are talking to them about the use of lenticulars and other printing processes. Lenticulars could provide a particularly eye-catching solution, said Petty.
The GPS satellite tracking system, which is used to analyse each trucks exposure, is supplied by NavTrak.
