The installation also includes an Integris 800 double-sided imposition proofer.
The Veris, which is based on Creos Multi-Drop Array, is a four-up proofer that can deliver a resolution of 1,500dpi.
The Dot Factory managing director Simon Perry said the detail and smoothness produced by the Veris during beta testing was superior to anything he had seen before.
We do a lot of work for home shopping and holiday companies, which involves a large amount of pagination and proofing, so we were impressed by its reliability and repeatability, said Perry.
The company uses the Veris to provide base proofs, used to check colour, content and images, while it uses the Integris to produce additional proofs that may contain changes to linework and tints.
The 24-staff company has a turnover around 1.8m
