Trinity Mirror launches redesigned Wales on Sunday

Trinity Mirror subsidiary Media Wales has completely redesigned its flagship title Wales on Sunday.

Two key changes are the launch of Seven Days, lifestyle magazine, in-line with most of the national Sunday titles, and a revamped sport section, which has now been moved to the back pages.

Alongside the redesign, Wales on Sunday is now being sent to an additional 170 outlets across the north of the country, where it is actively promoting the title by providing point-of-sale material, as well as a combined offer with Trinity Mirror sister The People.

Editor Tim Gordon said: "Wales on Sunday will still contain all the best quality news, sport, entertainment and lifestyle features but we’ve shaken it up into a brand new format.

"The launch of the Seven Days supplement means that readers of Wales’ favourite Sunday paper will have a brand new lifestyle supplement bursting with features, and advertisers will have an effective new platform for reaching those readers."
