Transactis employs transpromo to win Avis Europe contract

Data insight and document solutions specialist Transactis has employed the digital technology of its InfoPrint printer set-up to help it secure a 3m contract with car hire firm Avis Europe.

The Whiston, Merseyside-based company has migrated the production of the company's invoice and statements from a pre-printed cutsheet to a continuous-feed operation.

By using its InfoPrint 5000 printers, Transactis has redesigned Avis's collateral to incorporate transpromotional offers and to feature a more personalised approach to the messages printed on each statement and invoice.

According to Martyn Viquerat, director of document solutions at Transactis, Avis has been "extremely proactive and forward-thinking in terms of the opportunities available through the use of our technologies".

"We look forward to working with Avis to provide support and further opportunities for its businesses," he added.

Through the contract, Transactis produces weekly document volumes of 50,000, which are output in its Automated Document Factory printing and mailing environment.

Transactis, which has clients that also include Shop Direct Group, also operates four monochrome InfoPrint 4100s, two Xerox DocuTech 180 highlight colour cutsheet printers and mailroom equipment from Pitney Bowes.

Commenting on the new contract, Chris Soanes, project manager at Avis, said Transactis provided "the accuracy and efficiency that we need alongside the technology required to optimise our invoices and statements".
