Tracy Dineen has been appointed business development manager in southern England for Durst.

Starting in the role this week, Dineen will be working closely with the local sales, service, supply, and logistics teams as well as at group level.

She will also spend time accompanying customers and prospects to the group head office in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy, and at Durst Innovation Center East, the group’s other production site in Lienz, East Tyrol, Austria.

Dineen, who described the role as “my dream job”, has joined from Soyang Europe while her other previous roles have included working with multinationals including EFI and HP. She has 20 years’ industry experience.

“Durst has a great sense of its own identity and brand values akin to my own. As a privately-owned company, Durst can self-determine and remain focused on its position in the industry,” she said.

“As a market leader with engineering excellence and customer satisfaction at its heart, its focus on ‘pixel to output’ has real meaning for its customers. I could not be prouder to join this great company.”

Peter Bray, managing director of Durst UK and Ireland, added: “Tracy is a welcome addition to the Durst family and brings a wealth of experience across print and communications. I look forward to introducing her to our growing customer base.

“Tracy’s expertise in the wide format inkjet sector will be extremely valuable as we continue to lead innovation within established and new markets. We remain committed to using our technology to drive sustainability and promote a better future for all.”
