Three local authorities sign up with CFH for mailing work

Bath and North East Somerset Council, Medway Council and Carmarthenshire County Council have struck deals with mailing house CFH Total Document Management, pushing its March mailing volumes beyond 3m.

The Radstock-based company now has 32 UK local authorities on its books and has benefited from the annual council tax mailings to residents.

During the main billing period, council tax bills and exemption notices are sent to every household in the UK, while National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) bills are sent to businesses.

Some councils also ask for other year-end documents such as rent statements and council tax benefit letters to be sent out.

CFH managing director Dave Broadway said: "Our strength in transactional mail has continued to help us win new business from local authority clients, and in many cases this has extended to ongoing print production and mailing over and above the annual billing period."
