Taylor Bloxham achieves BPIF health and safety standard

Leicester printer Taylor Bloxham has achieved the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) Health and Safety Seal of Excellence certification.

It scored 93% on its audit requirements and becomes one of only four companies in the UK to have achieved the certification.

Taylor Bloxham’s health and safety officer Steve Doyle said: "Achieving the certification further endorses Taylor Bloxham’s commitment to the company’s health and safety policy.

"We always set high safety standards and working practices to enable us to focus on the health and welfare of our employees, visitors and contractors while working on our premises."

In order to achieve the accreditation, Taylor Bloxham passed a number of checks covering risk assessment, ensuring training is up-to-date and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) assessments were in place.

The company has now set itself the target of achieving OHSAS 18001 occupational heath and safety accreditation.
