Taurus invests in Heidelberg five-colour

Taurus Print has updated its presses department with the purchase of a new Heidelberg SM 74-5+L five-colour B2 press.

The press has been installed at the 35-staff, West Byfleet, Surrey-based company and is specified with an alpha.d dampening system from technotrans.

General manager Paul Flory said: "The unique selling point of Taurus is our ability to enable our customers to meet their tight deadlines without compromising colour.

"We can do this by our dedication to regular investment and by updating our production facilities with the best of today's technology."

He added that the alpha.d dampening system gave the business "the ability to achieve consistent professional results and peace of mind during lone and short print runs".

The business runs B2 and B3 presses and produces corporate brochures and magazines, leaflets, posters and general business stationery.
