The new machine is the group's sixth Nexpress and the third to be delivered to its Solihull facility since its initial investment in 2005.
Synergie has specified its latest machine with Kodak's dimensional printing system that allows for images and text to be printed with a tactile effect.
Terry Hannam, managing director, said: "The creative capabilities of the Nexpress are unique and help us differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
"Dimensional Printing lets us create exciting, stand-out products for customers that want to build targeted and sophisticated direct mail campaigns."
The group, which also has sites in Basingstoke, Plymouth, Lymington, Portsmouth and Newbury, is coupling the dimensional ink capabilities of its Nexpress with its Kern Easy Mailer equipment.
By using the one-piece envelope machine, the group is creating personalised, digitally-printed mailing campaigns.
"We’re striving to achieve the ultimate in 'one-to-one' communications. With dimensional printing, for example, we can create striking, personalised 3D direct mail pieces that grab the reader’s attention," he added.
Earlier this year, Synergie invested in £570,000 worth of Duplo finishing equipment at Ipex, the manufacturer's biggest ever UK order.
The deal included three DC-645 slittercutter-creasers with integrated folder, two DPB-500 perfect binders (one PUR, one hotmelt), two Digital System bookletmakers, a 3500 and a 5000, a DCM-52 creaser-perforator, two DC-10/60 Pro Collators and a three-knife trimmer.
