Sutton gets top sales job at Komori UK

Komori UK has appointed Neil Sutton as sheetfed sales director.

Previously southern area sales manager Sutton is now responsible for sheetfed sales throughout the UK, Ireland and South Africa.

He retains responsibility for southern sales, while northern area sales manager Steve Turner now reports to Sutton.

Sutton said there would be no major changes and Komori would continue to focus on the B1 and B2 market.

"I'm very excited by the long perfectors, I'm very pleased with the success of the long 28s," he said.

He also said that the launch of the long perfecting version of the LS40 in Europe at Drupa would help the firm.

"Now we're able to show the long perfectors I'm confident we'll make inroads," he said.

Komori has recently signed a number of new orders including the third 10-colour Lithrone 28, a Lithrone 40SP double-decker perfector and several Lithrone 640s.

Martin Rickards, who was recently promoted to chief executive of Komori UK and Komori International Netherlands said: "We're extremely pleased to welcome Neil to the Komori UK board. He has a comprehensive knowledge of sheetfed presses with a natural ability to understand what customers require."
