The development is part of the group's focus on its coated fine paper business and multi-coated graphical grades.
The Grycksbo mill produces the woodfree coated paper grades of G-Print and LumiMatt, used for magazines, brochures and catalogues.
Grycksbo has three paper machines producing machine-coated fine papers. It has a capacity of 280,000 tonnes per year, most of which is sold within Europe.
The planned sale of the Grycksbo mill is part of the group's European profits improvement programme Profit 2007, which includes a rationalisation of the firm's fine paper business.
The programme aims to improve the firm's pre-tax profits by some 205m (300m) from mid-2007 onwards.
