SilverFast Ai Studio updates workstations to operate Heidelberg Topaz scanners that are no longer in production.
"SilverFast allows pre-press firms to breathe life into very capable scanners," said technical director Rob Griffith.
"Many firms have Topaz kit gathering dust. Now they can connect it to the new Mac G5 running OS X to make it productive again."
Sales director Tony Kirk said: "There must be hundreds of Topazes out there and I can't believe they have all been junked."
The Wolverhampton-based firm is selling SilverFast for 1,599 until the end of January.
