The Leicester-based firm visited the Friedheim International Open House last week to view the Swiss-made machine, which was being demonstrated in the UK for the first time.
We will be attacking different markets with this [the Bograma], like designers and agencies. I think this will be the answer to their dreams, said Senator managing director David Billett.
The Bograma, which comes in two sizes, 750 and 450, can be run inline or offline. Senator plans to run its machines inline with a folder or a Muller stitcher, enabling it to produce die-cut booklets in one pass.
Around 140 visitors attended the Open House from 28-30 October. A wide range of Friedheim kit was shown, including the Ehret roll-to-sheet line, and the Herzog + Heymann booklet system with EMC punching.
The Hemel Hempstead-based supplier has also won the exclusive UK and Ireland agency for German film-wrapping systems maker Beck Packautomaten.
