The deal also includes a new ST400 fully-automatic saddlestitcher, a B1 buckle folder and a Digimaster black-and-white digital printing line.
"Better, faster, cheaper thats what our whole investment programme is based on," said joint managing director Malcolm Hackman.
HSW Print is the new identity of Hackman Print Group and incorporates the former Hackman Printers B2 site in Tonypandy and South West Printers in Bristol.
All the new equipment will be installed in January 2003.
The first 12-colour with CutStar is going to Kettering-based Eclipse Colour Print, which signed its order on the first day of Ipex.
