Information manager Ulf Gunnarsson said the increase was a result of improvements in demand for market pulp.
Inventories at paper producers were seemingly being reduced, he said, resulting in manufacturers coming back into the market to buy pulp.
There were also signs of an increase in paper demand, he added.
Canadian pulp producer Canfor has also announced a $20 per tonne increase to $530 for its European NBSK market pulp.
Gunnarsson said Sdra Cell would continue with maintenance downtime planned for September and October, which would help to balance market levels.
